PaperKiller offers you all the tools you need to create structured hypertext documents with hyperlinks, frame-to-frame links, visual linking, etc., using a WYSIWYG approach. You can create complicated multi-page documents – such as manuals or help files – and edit them just as if you were working on a single document. The resulting document can be saved as an HTML, RTF, CHM, or HLP file.
The program’s interface has the look and feel of most of the best-known word processors, which really helps you to get into the program’s functionality right away. PaperKiller, however, is clearly oriented to the production of highly hyperlinked documents, such as help files for software products, manuals of all types, multimedia teaching materials, and more. It uses the WYSIWYL technology (What You See Is What You Link, present in similar well-known editing tools, such as RoboAuthor), that allows you to insert and browse links without leaving the editor, so that you do not need to go into preview mode to see what the document will look like.
PaperKiller can work with tables, frames, slides, pop-up windows, mouse-over changing images, maps, in a seamless, visual, highly intuitive way. Every style, multimedia element, or link that you incorporate into the text will be visible right from the start, giving you the feeling that you are working with your favorite text editor. This will give you an extra advantage, especially when you are updating existing manuals or help files with new features or corrections. more
